PROGRAMMING DONGLE ASSY

Optional Programming Dongle Assembly for all use on Kannad 406 ELTs and Kannad Cs144 Navigation Interface.

The Kannad dongle and dongle assembly are designed to store the aircraft programming data for the CS144 navigation interface and can also be used in place of the DIN12 ELT connector for fleet operations.

With the aircraft identification data stored inside the dongles memory chip, the navigation interface has the information readily available to format a position message for the ELT to transmit. For fleet operations the dongle turnes every ELT into an on-line spare. When an ELT is hooked up to a programming dongle, the data writes into the ELT memory.

This assembly incorporates a programming dongle on one end and a female DIN12 on the other designed to make the dongle removeable. A Male DIN12 connector on the remote swicth wire harness is required to connect to the dongle assemblu.
